David Bovée is an investment banker with in-depth experience in financing corporate growth and commercial real estate. He has expertise in economic development finance tools such as bonds, tax-exempt bonds, tax credits, loan guarantees, immigration-linked programs (EB-5) and more. David has negotiated and closed transactions with most money center banks, regional banks, HUD, SBA, USDA, conduit, and agency sources. With over a dozen years experience in seniors housing, David’s focus is now on making investments in assisted living and memory care throughout the USA. David is a member of several key industry trade organizations, including NIC, IIUSA, CDFA, AM&AA, and ACG.
Senior Vice President
Jeff DeMonbrun has over 15 years in the financial services industry. His experience includes providing over $850 million in building and equipment funding for nearly 100 different companies throughout the United States. Much of his focus in the past has been in helping nonprofit corporations and family run manufacturing companies expand as efficiently as possible. At Zenith Capital, Jeff uses his experience to create new opportunities for assisted living operators as they expand and grow their portfolios.Jeff graduated from the University of Denver and holds both Series 7 and 63 security licenses.
Chief Financial Officer
Stephanie Cheung is a practicing CPA with 20 years of experience in both public accounting and private industry. She spent her last seven years working with Emeritus Senior Living driving innovation within the accounting and finance departments. She served as the in-house expert on technical accounting issues and performed impairment assessments on all the communities on a quarterly basis. She prepared all their SEC filings prior to them merging with the largest senior care provider in the nation, Brookdale Senior Living. Prior to that time, she worked for Expedia, Inc. as they grew from a start-up to a well-established online travel company. She has worked in public audit at both Deloitte & Touche, LLP and Ernst & Young, LLP.
Kuangyi Liu (Kelly)
Kelly practices immigration law, corporate law, and international business law. As corporate counsel for Zenith Capital, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience focusing on contractual issues, business arrangements, and risk management.
She earned her J.D. from NYU in 2012, her LLM from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007, and her LLB from the China University of Political Science and Law in 2006. Kelly is admitted to practice law in the state of New York and Oregon.
Chief Technology Officer
Roxy Stimpson has 18+ years of experience in software development and design, holding a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from University of Washington. She has spearheaded technical projects that range from building a complex contract management system to integrating an in-house financial system. Roxy has many years of experience as an Enterprise Architect, helping to lead mid-size companies in the Pacific Northwest leverage technical solutions and systems to support their growth. At Zenith Capital, Roxy is responsible for overseeing all of the technical innovations and tools essential to company’s operations.
VP Corporate Marketing and Operations
Sebastian Kalicinski is a marketing guru with expertise in brand development and marketing strategy. He successfully launched numerous consumer and retail packaged goods for various companies throughout his career. Sebastian is member of various industry associations, including AMA, CDFA, and IIUSA. Sebastian attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he received his pilot’s license and earned his degree in Aeronautical Operations Management.
VP of Acquisitions & Development
Jason brings over 13 years of experience in real estate development, having been exposed to a full spectrum of responsibilities, from development to energy, operations, management, and finance. He has led a total of $2 billion in development projects across the country since entering the industry. He comes to Zenith with EB-5 expertise, having led many international capital sourcing projects. Over the years Jason has been involved in EB-5 associations, including the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) in addition to holding a seat on the IIUSA Public Relation Committee. As the VP of Operations for EB-5 Global Inc. and a consultant at Ambient Trends LLC, he managed nearly $1 billion in projects in just two short years. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Oregon and is working towards a Finance MBA.
