In 2003, David Bovée formed Zenith as a financial services company focused on providing debt and equity solutions to commercial real estate development projects. The focus was to advise clients on financial courses of actions, solutions, and guide them through the potential risks.
Over the next decade, the group funded a variety of commercial projects ranging from motor yacht manufacturing, various wholesale and distribution centers, service industry organizations, and multi-family real estate developments.
During that same period, the firm developed a specialization in Seniors Housing, and to date, Zenith has funded over 40 Seniors Housing totaling more than $500 million in transactional value.
Zenith specialized in development finance and became an authority on the complexities involved in funding new development projects. The team funded numerous projects by executing sophisticated finance structures, such as:
- New Market Tax Credits
- Tax Exempt Bonds
- Tax Credits
- EB-5 Finance
- HUD, SBA 7A and 504
and other agency loans
The firm advised on mergers and acquisitions, on both the buy and sell side for a major commercial fishing company and various manufacturers.
To date, the team has collectively placed over $1.7 billion in manufacturing, hotels, industrial facilities, and seniors housing.
